Privacy

Your information, plainly.

This page says what we collect, why, who else sees it, how long we keep it, and how to reach us about it. It applies to waterpartypack.com and to the booking, signing, payment and pickup pages we send you links to. Last updated October 31, 2026.

What we collect

• When you book: your name, email and mobile number; the driver's name, email and mobile number if someone else is towing; your dates, the trailer and any add-ons; your group type and how you heard of us, if you chose to answer; the time you agreed to our policies and the internet address you agreed from.
• When you buy a Day Pass: the buyer's name and email.
• When you sign the rental agreement: your typed name, your signature, your answers to the agreement's questions (the tow vehicle, your emergency contact, the lake you plan to visit), and the time, internet address and browser the signing came from. A person who signs the User Agreement through the group link also gives their date of birth.
• When you pay: Stripe tells us the card's brand, last four digits and expiry, and the payment's reference numbers. We never see or store your card number.
• At pickup and return: photos of the trailer and gear for the condition record. These are photos of equipment, not of people.
• Messages: the emails we send you and whether they were delivered.

Booking page counts

We count how far visitors get through the booking steps so we can improve the page. The count is a random id kept only in your browser tab, not a cookie, and it is not linked to you or to your booking. If your browser sends the Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track signal, we do not count your visit at all.

Cookies and tracking

This website sets no cookies and uses no analytics or advertising trackers. Our booking, signing and payment pages identify you by the private link we send you, not by a cookie. Stripe's payment page is run by Stripe under its own privacy policy. No other party collects information about your activity on this site over time or across other websites.

Card details

You pay on Stripe's secure page. Your card number never reaches us and we do not store it; we keep only the card brand, its last four digits and its expiry, which Stripe gives us for your receipt. Refunds go back to the payment method you paid with.

What we use it for

To run your rental: confirming the booking, sending the agreement to sign, telling you when the trailer is ready, reaching you about pickup and return, and keeping the records a rental business must keep. If you left the box ticked at checkout, we also email you news and offers. Every such email has an unsubscribe link, and the box covers email only; we never send marketing texts.

Who sees it

We do not sell or rent your information, and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing. It is handled only by the services that run the rental for us: Stripe for payment, our email provider for the messages above, the hosting companies that run our booking system and this website, and the storage service that keeps a locked copy of signed agreements. Each sees only what its job needs. We disclose information when the law requires it, or to defend a claim about a rental. If the business is ever sold, your information goes with it to the new owner under this policy.

How long we keep it

Booking and payment records are kept as long as tax and accounting law requires. A signed rental agreement and its signing record are kept for as long as a claim about that rental could be brought, and a locked copy is stored so it cannot be altered. Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Pickup and return photos are kept with the booking's record. Backups are kept for a limited time and then overwritten.

Asking us to see, correct or delete it

Call or text (801) 610-6527 or email waterpartypack@gmail.com. We will show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it, except for records the law or our insurer requires us to keep, such as signed agreements and payment records. To stop marketing emails, use the unsubscribe link in any of them or ask us.

Browser privacy signals

We honor the Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals: we do not track visitors, and when your browser sends either signal we do not count your booking-page visit.

Age

You must be 18 or older to rent from us or to sign the agreement, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.

How we protect it

Every page is served over an encrypted connection. Only the owners, and the bookkeeping tools working for them, can see booking records, and every change to a record is logged in a way that cannot be rewritten. Signed agreements are sealed with an independent timestamp and kept in locked storage.

Changes to this page

When this page changes we update the date at the top. A change that affects how we use information already collected is emailed to the customers it affects before it takes effect.
